I see that Windows 8 (beta)is out in a free download. If one was interested and they installed the beta version (bugs and all), when Microsoft comes out with the final release, (except for the 30 million updates they will have to do after the release to make it work the way it should), are the beta users going to be required to pony up the cost of the retail version to keep getting updates or at least the final working version? _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . If previous beta experiences hold true, all beta testers will have to pay full retail to get the final release of Windows 8. You will have to uninstall the beta version completely, then do a fresh installation. All data on the disk will be lost, so save anything you download, create or edit to an external drive or USB stick. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
