Zumsteel student model, pre-Stage 1?

The underside and fretboard recall this one (whereas the pedals and pedal board do not):

I got it in a pawn shop in kc mo 95 . Plays really easy and sounds good for what it looks like.

The changer and underbody look very much like the Stage One (SO). It looks like the bell cranks are welded on, like SO. The keyhead does not resemble SO. Of course, that is a Zum fretboard. But current Stage One's have a low, aluminum neck. I see from the ad linked above earlier ones did not. The angle "iron" aluminum knee levers are like SO, as does the pin-striping.

I'd say it is a Zum, or built by someone connected to Zum. Perhaps Doug or Bruce could clarify things.

Thanks a lot . Zum was my first guess but only because of where I got it . The only unfriendly thing about it is when you get below the third fret , the tuners run right into my big hand. Maybe Bruce or Doug will see this and confirm . Good press for them at it's age and condition. Again thanks for the input

Yep...early Zum...tell from the fret markings and "slightly" angled out legs.

The fretboard is a Zumsteel fretboard, so yeah, it's definitely a Zumsteel.
