I realize that this song will probably go over here like a junkie at a NARCS convention, but nevertheless I thought I'd post about it. After hearing nothing but nasily, twangy, breathless female singers on radio and TV for the last couple of decades, I just think it's refreshing to hear a woman singing with power, warmth, and beauty.

I've always been a Della Reese fan, and 50 years ago I served in the Army with her (claimed) cousin in Japan.

As soon as I saw your post, Donny; Don't You Know popped into my head and sure enough, that was the song title !! I was like you and Gene, Good was the main selector for my music.
