Hey Dave if Ray Walker comes up to your Steel Picnic you will hear a great improved Steel Player. I know Ray Personally and he is a great guy and he has worked hard to play that Steel and a great Job the last time I heard him play.

RAY you enjoy say Hi to Deb For Anna and I I wish I could be there to hear you play.

Take Exit 101 ( Faircrest Rd.) off of Rt. 77 just on the south side of Canton, Ohio. For those coming north on 77 turn left off of exit 101. Those coming south on 77 turn right at the exit. Go to Sherman Church road about 1/2 mile and turn left at traffic light. Take Sherman Church 1 mile to Richville Drive and turn Right again. It will be about 3/10 mile on the left. There will be signs posted along the roads to follow also. The address is 4252 Richville Drive S.W. Canton,Ohio.

So how was the Jam / picnic? I hated the fact that I had to miss it but I would like to hear how it went.

The steel jam/picnic was terrific. The weather was beautiful and the music was non-stop until after 7pm. I enjoyed visiting and catching up with all the other steelers. Thanks Dave for a great Sunday afternoon.

Dave,

You did real good! I know you put a lot of time in this...making sure everyone would feel comfortable. I think it's great that everyone was able to get together and visit, and listen to all of the steel players that attended. It was real nice getting to see Sonny Curtis and Barbera there too. I'll not mention any other names for fear of leaving someone out...

Looking forward to next year...

Jerry

I won't mention any names either Jerry. Oops, I guess I just did. But seriously, if you missed this event you missed a good one. Great music, good food, perfect weather, hangin' out with some of the best people I know. It just don't get any better than that.
