Installed a larger cap. HD after image the original and the properties of the new drive are same size of old drive. What do I need to change? Thanks.

If your imaging software is Acronis, or similar, it will have a checkbox option to restore the image filling all available disk space. Re-rerun the image restoration using that option.

What will happen is that after depositing your actual saved image onto the new disk, it will format the balance of the unallocated space and add it to the (C) partition.

If you used some other imaging software that does not expand the image to fill the space, you will have to use whatever is built into your operating system to add the unallocated space to the primary partition, or create a new partition from it.

If your system has no partitioning or disk management functions, you will need to purchase one. I used to use registered versions of Partition Magic to do these things. Now I use Windows 7's built in tools to manage disks and partitions. They allow me to expand or shrink any volume, delete or create drives and partitions, etc.
