Now For The Name Of The Tune.  
I have always liked the playing of Speedy West & Jimmy Bryant.
A DJ in the Minneapolis area used "This Ain't The Blues" as his theme song for his 5 P.M. daily radio show in the 1970s. |

I agree with everything that was said here about Speedy, Jimmy, our brother Roy and Bobby, but the player on this one is Bud Isaacs, with one of the regular studio recordings he did. Great harmony playing!

| The reson I hesitated all day before posting were the pedal changes at 0:12...0:41...1:22 and 1:50. Those were not something Speedy would have done. But I could not tie it to Bud Isaacs. Still wondering if the lead guitar was Chet Atkins...The title was shown as Turn Around on my player. |

I believe sometime in the 60's Bud Issac was in So. Calif. and was playing at the Skylite in Compton, Ca.
I went down to see what Bud was all about expecting a good Commercil Steel Player. I don't remember what kind of Steel he was playing, but to my Ear he was playing some great Jazz, both chords and single string. He was also a very good singer. I don't think he stayed in So.Calif. very long. Maybe if Bud reads this he can enlighten us more about when he was in So.Calif.
