Here's a video of Roy Acuff & The Smokey Mountain Boys, playing his Signature tune "The Wabash Cannon Ball".

Roy Acuff was an ICON in Country Music. He always featured the members of his band. Roy was active in Country Music for 56 years.

For a short time back in the 40's, Oswald strapped on an Electric Gibson Lap Steel. I could tell by the sound and saw it on an old U-Tube. It wasn't long before he went back to his Dobro. I wonder where they butied that Electric so he could not get at it ?

I heard that he specifically bought the electric for one of the first recording sessions Little Jimmy Dickens did around 1949.

Kind Regards, Walter
