We saw Shelby Lynne in concert last night at the Avalon in Hollywood. Her voice and music were outstanding, although it was a short set. The lap and non-pedal player was great, succinct and subtle, only the right notes and chords at the right time. But none of my party was able to get his name: any help?

Not sure who he is, but Shelby is my favorite female singer of any genre. So much so that my daughter is named after her. Shelby Lynn (spelled differently) Sinkler.
