Good responsive crowd and good pickin'. The Matt Rhodes Trio opened the show with some fine contemporary music proving again that the steel guitar can adapt to any type of music. They used a very unique set of drums. Tim Marlin followed with a fine country and swing set. He had Larry Schoppe on bass and vocals, James Harvey on guitar and Travis West on drums. Billy Phelps accompanied the Matt Rhodes Trio on bass on select numbers. The JAM Players. Jody Sanders-D10 Pedalmaster. Bobby Bowman-D10 Emmons, Tommy Alexander-D10 Franklin, and Tim Marlin-S12 Carter. Musicians in Jam : Billy Phelps on bass, James Harvey on guitar and Travis West on drums with Bill Helm on vocals. Thanks to everyone who came out and thanks to Billy and Patty Phelps for their help in getting the meeting set up. Next meeting the first Sun. in October. See you then, Jody, Billy, and Patty.
