Yhe George Mccoy I knew played a strait steel and played in the Ft Worth area and on the Cowboy Weaver th show George comsidered it the biggest complement that Weaver paid him. George had played SGR and Cowboy said "That was great. That sounded like SGR" Keep your thumb pick hot. cc

I was telling his Grandson (also a musician from that area) that if we posted on the Forum that we would likely find someone who knew him. We appreciate any stories folks have as well as any knowledge of records he was on etc.
