ok guys... any ideas out there on replacements for
1956 etc Fender StringMasters tuners? I talked to Kluson and they re-visit the issue , but it is not feasible for them to do a run on these. I stripped a gear a few weeks ago and luckily I had a tuner to
refit my old axe for Cindy Cashdollar to use. But this was luck and pulling from 35 years of tuners in my shop.... My DB8 is running and never sounded so great as under Cindy's hands... But we lucked out..
any ideas other than buying from folks parting out these old gals? Razz

I believe that Jim Palenscar has figured out a way to rebuild those old tuner pans sucessfully.
