SE Texas Steel Guitar Club Meeting

The next meeting will be Sun. August 7th at the MUD Bldg. #81 in Katy,Tx. Take I-10 to Mason Rd. exit. Left on Mason Rd. to Cimarron Pkwy. Right on Cimarron Pkwy to Hidden Canyon(about 3 blocks) left on Hidden Canyon and left into the parking area. The bldg. is on the corner of Cimarron Pkwy and Hidden Canyon. All players should be there at 1:00PM to set up. We start at 2:30PM. Featured players are: Jody Cameron and Tim Marlin. Also Bill Middleton from the Lake Jackson Opry wil be rendering songs from his new CD. Also from the Opry, Darla and Aaron Cameron. All musicians and vocalists welcome. There will be a donation box at the door to help us defray expenses. This is our first meeting in awhile, so let's all turn out and support our club. Thanks to Billy and Patty Phelps for their help in securing the bldg. See you there. Jody, Billy, and Patty.

Guys, I'm so sorry, but due to a scheduling conflict, I'm going to be unable to make the show Image , However my friend Tim Marlin will be the featured player, and Larry Schoppe will be doing some great vocals. I'm sure it will be a fun show. Tim plays a Bb6/Eb9 universal 12-str. tuning, and gets some mighty pretty big, fat chords out of it, so ya'll will have a treat for sure.
