I think maybe he meant to say Don Helms. Hanks Sr.'s steeler is supposed to be here Saturday night.

Just for the record.....Bobby Helms' recording of Fraulein had Don Helms on Steel. It still has the record for most weeks in the top 10.

I worked with Bobby for a couple of years in the late '70s. We didn't make a lot of money but we had fun. I lost track of the guitar player, his name was Jerry Wagner from Indiana. Does anyone know him or where he might be?
