My tribute to Herb Remington-- "Sweetnin'"

The first time I heard this song, courtesy of Basil Henriques, I knew I had to play it. I'm a sucker for rhumbas. This one is in A6 tuning and it has the low A string. Herb wrote some great tunes!
Herb gave me his blessing to transcribe the tune and offer it for sale, and I am very grateful and humbled. How lucky are we to have walking among us still?
Here is a link to listen--this was played on my Clinesmith lap steel and also my Tele, a dumbek and my Kay bass:

absolutely great, Mike. I'm sure Herb would agree.

I realize after listening to it a few times that I forgot to play a few different things that Herb played...oh well. I should have followed my own tab.

I love it Mike. Thanks for sharing, & kudos for your "tasty" effort.
I have an old, old 33 1/3 record of Herb doing that number. In 1995 at a Tom Bradshaw production I took in the record for him to autograph. As I recall, at the time he said he had forgotten about the particular record I have. I think I have played that tune only once at a jam a long time ago. It sounds pretty good on my extended Leavitt tuning also.

I don't know the original, but that is really beautiful Mike. Lovely exotica feel.
