Happened on this while looking at other stuff. Unusual but interesting mods on this thing, and certainly reasonably priced. Couldn't go too far wrong:

I now live a few miles from Dave's Guitar shop in LaCrosse.
I checked out both lap steels just a few weeks ago.
they are in great cosmetic condition. I didn't try them out. if you want me to I will and will report back.

Dave's is the place to stop if your even close to Wisconsin. He has been collecting vintage Fender since the seventies. It feels like a museum when you see how vast the collection is. Lots of fun to look even if you can't afford the 50,000.00 Teles and Strats.
