This is one of the last pro-level Melobars ever built....the CC-8 has a special pickup designed to sound like Cindy Cashdollar's Stringmaster, solid maple with a beautiful deep burgundy finish with gold hardware, Grover tuners, dual coil, strings are through the body.
They went to the see-through headstock (designed in cooperation with Ned Steinberger of headless guitar fame) just before they ceased making guitars....since they made continuous improvements while manufacturing any model, this is their ultimate...
