Peavey Vegas 400 Pedal Steel Guitar Amp Questions

How well would this amp work with a Sierra 8 string non pedal steel guitar? Is it overkill? How would it compare to a Nashville 112? What would be a good price on a used Vegas 400? I'd like to hear the pros and cons.

yes, it work well with a 8 string lap steel. i have one for years and played 100 or more gigs with one. a
great amp. used price $250 to $350 well worth
it. if, you have a chance to buy one do it great peavey amp. just my 2 cents
