Hello Everyone I need four legs for a 1976 Sho-Bud Pro II. Mine look horrible which i could live with, but none of them will tighten I have tried every combo of inserting the bushings, fiber at the top fiber at the bottom, metal above the fiber, metal below, nothing seems to work . If i take the bushings out and just try the tightener it goes on smooth and easy so they don't seem stripped, but with the bushings in they constantly cross thread and just come undone. Its these little things that drive me nuts, So are they possibly fixable, and if not is Bobbe Seymours the way to go ? 188.00 for four plus shipping, steep but i'll do it if thats the deal, |

I know that you can buy rebuild kits for the clutch's or buy the whole clutch. I cant remember now where to get them but someone on the forum will see this and know where to buy them. Martin. _________________ Several custom steels. NV-112 Boss DD-7 |

Bryan, the prices Ive seen for clutches seem to be $30. Then you have the ugly looks of your existing legs to contend with.
I recommend you contact Don Burrows. He will make you stainless steel legs, top quality, clutches and all, for a price that's very competitive _________________ BenRom Pedal Steel Guitars

Somehow this conjures up the image of Don posing in a speedo. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 55 years and still counting. |
