Hello folks I am fairly new to all this and am trying to find the Gerry Byrds tuition pack which according to the HSGA is a large ringed binder with all the instruction in and also comes with either tapes or CDs.
It covers a number of different tunings and I thought that this could be the most comprehensive package going.
Does anyone know any different or can you suggest where I can get it from.
It retails for roughly $107.
failing this....can anyone put me on the right path.
I like to play Hawaiian have a hand made lap steel that I built myself with Charlie Christian pick up and to power it, a Fender Pro Junior in tweed and a tc electronics nova system so I don't get bored!!!!
Any help will be greatly appreciated and I love to have contact with you guys over the pond from me.
I live in th UK for my sins!
Peter  [/b]

You can buy the Jerry Byrd book from Scotty's Music.

You should seek out Basil Henriques, one of the best players, and he just so happens to live on your side of the pond. http://www.waikiki-islanders.com/

Thank you for your input. I have emailed Scottys and await an answer.
Basil Henriques is a very knowledgable and clever musician but I wanted to scout around and seek out other people's views as well. Especially from you guys in the states.
