Once again the TSGA has put to bed a great weekend of steel guitar music for all of us. The line up of talent was superb, the sound was great, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the crowd was appreciative, attentive, and .....plentiful. Yes, one of the largest I recall seeing there.
My compliments to Albert Talley, (and of course Debbie), and the entire TSGA organization for hosting one of the finest steel guitar shows anywhere in the world. I spoke with several international visitors that were in Dallas too and they shared my sentiments about the quality of the show and indicated this would not be their last trip to Texas for steel guitar music. A convention the size of the one just held this past weekend is a tremendous effort of organization, and teamwork, and the TSGA staff has once again proven themselves to be winners. I want to thank them all for allowing me to be a very small of the show as an entertainer and vendor and can't wait for March 2013 to roll around! |

Tommy
It was great seeing you again, I enjoyed your set and visiting with you. That Franklin Simenar payed off. To see someone at Tommy's level in a class (I don't know if he was there to learn or run the camera) this shows that to be great is to still be learning.
Great job Tommy, hope to see your wife in Texas next year and she could bring you too, I suppose.

Well pal, you outdid yourself.
You picked GREAT!
It was a pleasure for me being the MC to bring you on.
And by the way, I really did NOT kick your seat out from under you in Atlanta.
Love you pal,

Tommy, I would like to ditto what you say. It was a great show. And also, I have been looking forward to your set since St Louis. Your song selection manages to spice things up. Even though I was busy working the booth, I knew when you were up just as soon as you started playing. I found myself wanting to do a little dance.... and that's a scary sight, but when I thought no one was looking, I may have "cut the rug" a step or two. Big as I am, they may have felt a small tremor down under. _________________ BJS Bars |
