Hello Everybody, First post but I have been reading the forum for years. I just bought a 1954 T8 Fender Stringmaster. Very Happy It will be comming next week with no strings. It's a 26" scale. Any string advice on size or prepackage sets and where to get them? I notice they have sets here on the forum. Two different C6, A6 and E13, anybody use these? Any maintenance I can do or should do? I think I will tune one neck to C6th and one to E13th. Any sugggestion on the other. Is there a logical layout of which neck gets which tuneing or just preference Just starting to learn steel.
Thanks Dennis

Hi,
I just got the three 8 string sets off the form. They came today and I should have the guitar tomorrow. It's a 54, so I was wondering witch tunner pan is the date under?
Thanks Dennis
