Here is the art work I got my Idea from

It was a friends son

Image

I must tell the truth

Yes I cut the limb up

But the man where the limb fell wanted to make the guitar
I did not think the wood was seasoned enough but he wanted to make one

I gave hin a print I had
he did not make the neck wide enough for the string spacing
I had to add strips
and epoxy the voids
It had to be painted

I told him I wanted to make a hollow body
wait to you see this monster

You done good, Jim.
I love to see raw chunks of trees taken in hand, and metamorphosed into wonderful pieces of art.
