New "Bullet" Bar

Just got a new bar. [As if I need another bar]. This is a 15/16" by 3 3/8" "Bullet" bar by Jim Burden. This bar was drilled to weigh about the same as my BJS Hughey bar and has the best polishing job I've ever seen on a stainless bar. I really like the radius at the back of the bar too. If you're considering another bar, don't hesitate to contact Jim. He'll make a bar to your specs, and these are among the best of the best.

That's great. I have two 7/8" Bullet bars. Jim winters here in Florida. He hasn't said anything but he is battling some cancer problems. He has had radiation and chemo and is supposed to have surgery this month for it. Keep him in your prayers.

I love my Bullet Bar that Jim made for me. It's a little smaller cuz I have a smaller hand. I'm ordering another with a longer length for those times when I need to cover almost all 10 strings at once. But I have to admit, this bar makes me feel like one of the big boys, though I'm just a little woman.

Jim has made me 5 bars to my specs and all are just super.
I have not used my BJS bar since he made these for me.
He even has a bar he calls by my name for the guys at our FSGC.
Wishing my friend Jim the very best with his upcoming operation.

My wife is using a standard 7/8" 10 string Bullet bar and not having any problems with the bar handling. Her problem is the pedals on her GFI S-10 as they are too far apart for her narrow "womans" foot.
(I'm originally from Mechanicsburg, Pa).

I had Jim Burden build a custom bar for me a few years ago. He didn't fuss a bit and the charge was very fair. He's from just up the road in Indiana from me and is or was a member of the local steel club.
I'm sorry to hear about the health problems and wish a successful treatment for his condition.
Jim's one of the good guys and a true craftsman.
