Reece And Bobbe!

When talking with Bobbe on the phone about the SuperSlide, I mentioned I had not been in Nashville for quite some time, and it was about time I visited and had the pleasure of seeing many of my long time friends.
We then started talking about the two of us playing our SuperSlides while I was there, and the thought occurred to us that it might be great fun to get together for a jam session. Bobbe indicated that, potentially, Steel guitar Nashville could be “jam central.”
We have decided on July 5th to show and play our SuperSlides at Bobbe's store starting at about 10:00 am, and we invite everyone to come, see, and test drive the new SuperSlide. That evening we will also be showing the SuperSlide at the NTSGA meeting at the local American Legion Hall where the organization usually meets.
I'm sure Bobbe would need to know for planning purposes how much interest there truly is for such an event, as well as how many might like to attend. So would you please express your opinion and intentions here on the forum?
Bobbe, jump in here if you want to add some additional things.

Yes, 10:AM on the 5th of July. Fun, noise, finger food from Wendy's, and a great bunch of good players. Hopfully my favorite players such as Tommy White, Doug Jernigan, Randolph Beavers, Smiley Robert Jozepheack, Tommy Morrell, and anyone else that we can get to come by and play us some incredible Super Slide steel guitar.
I think Maurice called this a "Slide off", or it could be called "No pedalers a-Loud".
About all I can say is, If you want to hear the greatest in hard core pure steel guitar, Jazz, Country, Hawaiian, Western Swing and if any adults show up, we can do some "adult contemporary music".
And as Mr. Anderson says, Id like to know how many thousands of you great players and fans may possibly show up so I'll know how much Black Angus Steak to order.
This is July 5th, 10AM 'till time to go the jam at the American Legion. Great steel guitar, lotta' fun, come by and win the slightly used BMW!
Seriously, plan on having fun with us! Bring picks, no training pedals, and plan to laugh a lot! We'll have great fun.

Err uhh....scuze me, your right Bobbe, but everyone knows "B" comes before "R".....my mistake, simply a mental belch and a slip of the digits. (my two typing fingers)
So whats it gonna be Bobbe, steak or Wendy's. I'm sure many are waiting for you to make that decision before committing to attend.
HowardR....Bobbe and I didn't want to infringe on your idea by calling it a "slide off", so we'll call this a "slide show", or it could be called as Bobbe said, a "no pedalers aloud" show.
I understand you have a great collection of guitars, but you're missing one aren't you? Contact me and I'll rectify that situation immediately.
Damir....Tell me what kind of food it will take to get you there, and I'll personally see to it.
Cody....We'll find you a place even if you have to sit on my seat behind my SuperSlide.
Randy....It's going to be great to see you, and hear you play your new SuperSlide. I would love to sit "slide by slide" with you and play a tune or two.
BTW....Randy's guitar is the worlds first with a special paint scheme on a SuperSlide.

Reece and Bobbe- With all us steelers coming you will have to rent a convention center.
Does a Alkire E-Harp count as a slide steel
. Bobbe--Do you remember Lloyd Nollinger? He is the one who got me started with the E-Harp. So this little piggy stayed home and you went to Nashville. I should of had uncle Doug teach me

I'll certainly do my best to be there for that! Sounds great! By the way, will the NTSGA meeting be just a business meeting, or is this one of their jam nights as well?

Sam, I'll just send the executive jet, lot easier than going through airport security, you wouldn't get through anyway! Hard to hide a steel guitar under your coat!
You do need to be here! Love to see you again,
Bobbe

Two great steelers that once were good friends
After much fussin’ made their amends
They traded their pride
For a new Superslide
And will now play to a room full of grins!

Kind of like Lex Luthor and Superman meeting in the Fortress of Solitude.
Watch out for the Pink Kryptonite™ Bobbe
I can't tell you what it does. Not in this company anyhow, but you could end up in a group picture with Jim Nabors..

Bobbe,
MAN, what an event. Since Reece is being gracious enough to come to Nashville to pick for the mid-America guys, why can't you come to Texas to pick for the Texas guys. We can't all get to Nashville you know but you can fly to Tyler. Remember, you get treated right in Texas. You just can't let your Texas friends do without this honor can you.
Reece, what do you think about this. I'll help with the arrangements (except for the Black Angus). There's no telling how many pickers would come to an event like this.
You guys will have as much fun in Texas as you will in Nashville and we have great players here too.
You two mull this over. You just can't afford to overlook TEXAS.
All you Texas players that would like to have this, get in here and "GET 'ER DONE"

Joe M....If we have to move it to the convention center I'm sure Bobbe will be glad to rent it, won't you Bobbe?
Billy W....If I can go from Keller to Oceanside to see you, I think you should come from southern Calif. to Nashville.
Ricky D....I too wish you could make it. You're right, what a great year this is, and is going to continue to be.
Terry E....You have a hidden talent for poetry which I had not seen revealed until now.
Alan K....It's the same distance for me as it is for you, so I'll meet you there and see to it that you're glad you made the trip.
Eric W....HUHhhhhhh!
Lem S.... Hope you can make it. You'll remember how to act, it's easy, all you do is relax and have fun.
