DSSGA family and crew will celebrate Jerry Byrd's life all day during the upcoming June 4 steel guitar show here in Gulfport, Ms.
JERRY BYRD APPRECIATION DAY = JBAD and it is good.
Here is our line up of players and Billy Carr starts us off at 11:00 AM. Thirty minute porgrams for each player. In order after Billy will be: R.J. Buras, Tim Bridges, Big Will Stewart and Reggie Duncan(duo), Larry Moore, Royce Tarver and Danny Harrell(duo), Mike Brewer, Ivan Reddington, Franklin Family, David Easley, SERA, John Hughey, Russ and Laney Hicks, Roy Ayres, Scotty, Bill Stafford, Randy Blackwell, Barney Miller, Howard Tate, John Hughey, J.R. Jones band and guest steel artist, and THE BUNCH will end the program starting at 10 PM until. We will have the best band to support all these guys. See you all there. I'm already packed, sitting in the Suburban waiting for my wife to put on make-up. You know, it might take her until June 3rd to get ready. We'll see y'all at R.J.'s Fish Camp next Friday night!
