Well, i should have posted this because i've been asked about it alot lately.
Every other saturday night there is a Opry show at Bill's Music Shop in West Columbia.
We started on Jan 28th and just had the second one on Feb 11th.
Next show will be Feb 25th! 
Over a 100 people for the second show.
We have put together a staff band and i play steel.
It is absolutly only country music. The real stuff!
We have different hosts and through out the night guest singers come in and we do their tunes. Had about 9 guests this past show.
No beer and liquor and its from 7 to 10:00pm. We will probably take it to 11:00pm eventually. It is alot of work but it is fun work.
It's sponsored by 94.3 Legends radio station and a few other business 's have jumped on board.
It's funny because a ton of kids and adults walk up and ask me about the steel. They have never seen one up close. I'm hoping it will inspire some youngins to start playing steel.
Our plans is to bring a major artist in to host and that is in the works.
In honor of the late Bill Wells the band was named after his favorite blue grass name.
"Bill's Blueridge Country"
Willie his son still has bluegrass on friday's but the country thing is alot bigger crowd.
Bring the whole family! Nothing like it in this area!

Key Kenny,
Thanks for asking me to be play the show the other night. Glad schedules worked out so I could be there. Columbia has needed a show like this for years, and by the looks of the turn out Saturday, I'm sure it will be successful.

It is pretty intense but makes ya step up and it sure is fun!

Thought i would bump this back so you guys will know the next show mis this saturday!

Also, took the Opry band from Bill's to Saluda sunday and they played my set. We had a blast!

Don't forget the show is this Saturday! Hope to see some steel buddies show up so they can kick my butt for not playing it like the original!
