Could anyone explain the best way to set up the rack profex tuner and amp.
I understand that the profex likes a clean signal from the guitar. I have the volume pedal in front of the Profex but experience some clipping at higher volume. I was wondering how one would hook it up any other way like volume pedal after the profex and still get stereo.
Thanks.

The profex has an extremely hot output side. I seldom run my output (knob on bk of profex) above 3 or 4. The Profex manual states how to set up your profex with your guitar so it won't clip. I can run my input at 8 or so and the output at 3 and the signal is fine for the amp. Won't clip. Try that....you can get the profex manual on Peavey website....choose support then manuals and then archived manuals. Good luck/..
