Well all these people showed up my house. I thought it was the ATF, but it turned out to be a news crew. The clip was aired on the local Flagstaff news and the big Phoenix station.

Rand, you want to be careful or you'll have Exxon and Mobil representatives on your door steps. They're worse than ATF. They take no prisoners, ask all the independents in the US .... Image Image

Good For you. Wish I was that intelligent, especially with $2.20 gallon gasoline.

Kudos Rand. You have the right idea. Is it my computer or do both newscasters have a slight lisp? No offense, just wondered if my hearing was going on me. I know of a fellow who got beaucoup miles per gallon of gas on an engine he invented, but he says, "If the big Detroit people found out about it I would be "mysteriously dead" within a week". He may be right. I believe he destroyed the engine, but a friend of mine rode with him once across the state and back, and he only used about four gallons of gas. It can be done. Ya just gotta watch out for the "Gas Gestapo". They're out to crush the competition one way or another.

Cool, Rand. Do you have an electic generator that runs on that stuff to power your amp?

thanks you all for such positive reinforcement.
it is a uphill climb, but alot of folks are coming out of the woodwork to help. power of the people, power to the people.

smiley,
when i encoded the windows media(this is also plausible with real media) i use a multi-bandwidth format. This allows for bandwidth negotiation. If your connection allows for DVD quality stream you will get it. It then throws out packets(ususally video as it is not as disturbing as broken choppy audio. So for someone with a dialup, most of the video is being discarded.

therefore you will notice other means of actually downloading the file (http and ftp).

just right click and save as.......

happy motoring

yeah david that's the idea...
you can take a simple wind/power battery system and tie a diesel generator into it on the cloudy days. if i only had a soybean farm. the best technolgy of the century for this stuff comes from WWII hercules motors. they'll burn corn on the cob i've been told.

Most of that oil ends up in our landfills anyway. Might as well get a little extra out of it. I which the automotive industry would come out with a half ton truck with a small 6 cly that would get about 30 miles to the gallon.

I thought the definition of an Environmental Steeler was someone who "Push/Pulls" his vehicles.

Great job Rand! I've spent time on Greasecar.com and think this is a great idea. Just doing it takes time. Good for you!

There was a recent article on local Tampa TV in the past week about several that are recycling used restaurant oils and using them in diesels.

One guy they interviewed joked about his exhaust smelling like french fries.

Rand, I can't get the link to work; it's my old Mac, I'm sure. Anyway, I'll email you.
I'm in Prescott, and i'm really interested in going to biodiesel. Good for you!
