I record all the Larry's Country Diner shows and happened to watch the last one that aired on RFD and Mike Johnson was on with Daryl Singleterry. I was thoroughly engaged in that show from start to finish. Mike did a great job and the steel was center stage with Mike explaining the difference in the two necks, closeups of the pedals and levers. Mike is one of the best.

That was a good show. Mike did a great job as usual. I thought his tone was great. I know he usually plays thru a N 400 but an angle shot of the amp made it look wider than a Nashville, maybe a Sessions 400.

Yeah, I think it was a Session 400 and it sounded so good. Mike looked like he was having a great time.

Quite often, the Larry's Country Diner shows turn up on DVD. I will keep my eyes open for the one that contains this episode. Just love Mike's playing.
