No idea but Wide World Records was based in Houston, Tx and had a lot of Gene's recordings including at least one LP:

Henry you are correct .. watson played this for me on the Bus a few weeks ago . He said it was Lloyd! He also said that was one of the first songs he ever wrote and then recorded ! It’s a dandy ! 😉

I just listened to it! Yep, that's a dandy. Gene and Mel Tillis could both do those cheatin on your wife songs and make you believe them.

Way cool Boo; thanks for asking Gene.(course I already knew...ha) and Gene used Lloyd on everything until end of 1979..as Sonny Garrish started getting worked in; and there is a album that BOTH Lloyd and Sonny are on, at that transition time; but I can't remember which it is????
