For some unknown reason,,I got to thinking about steel guitar logos and I think the Sho-Bud one is the nicest one I have ever seen..For that matter, the whole guitar doesn't look to shabby...They must be some of the prettiest steels ever built...Cheers,, Carson

Here's a link to an older, rather lengthy discussion. It has a link to an even older discussion!

You can give credit to Hall-of-Fame Steelplayer
Billy Robinson for creating the Sho~Bud logo.
When I was in steel retail sales at Scottys we
several times had a potential customer pass on
a Sho~Bud because their church-beliefs frowned
on the display of the 'deck of card suits'.

Carson - I would hate to see this topic closed already. We've had lots of people join the Forum since the original discussion. I'd like to hear their opinions.

I prefer the logos like old MSA, Carter, JCH had. I also like for a logo to be lacquered over to prevent it from being removed. Silkscreened logos that MSA had are nice also.

I guess they weren't T Texas Tyler fans.

I noticed that Emmons and Sho~Bud use the same font.
