Some good times so far. Played a real fun one last night for BBC Scotland with a bunch of great bands.
1200 in the crowd.
Got to meet and chat with Sarah Lee Guthrie (Arlo's daughter and of cousre Woodie's grand daughter).
Haven't found out the air time yet for last night's show. Heard either Feb 3 or 5. I'll keep ya posted.

That tour looks great. I'm jealous. I'd love a chance to tour the British Isles, and Northern Europe as a C&W star. Also, make sure your contract stipulates "no brown M&M's in the dressing room" like Mr Van Halen's does.

I hear Mariah Carey asks for rose pedals on the floor and labrador puppies to pet. We're lucky to get a mirror.
Actually hospitality has been quite nice here.

Hey Dave, congrats on the tour. Sounds like a blast! Just curious, did you fly with your steel or are you renting over there? I have some travel coming up and trying decide what to do. Thanks, Gibson

Gibson, I've got a pelican rifle case for the steel and flew with it. I figured the chances of finding one over here with my copedant would've been near impossible. I've been using amps supplied by tour managers and bookers. Had the misfortune of being stuck with a Marshall acoustic guitar amp for most of the UK shows. I had a twin reverb for a few shows but it fried after 3 nights and I was back to Marshall. Here in the Netherlands I have the new Twin Amp that works out well for both guitar and steel. Didn't fly my pac a seat so have had to adjust to whatever chair I can get. Brought and emergency 3 legged camping stool and have not had to use it yet.
