Time is drawing close for all trains to lead to Chattanooga, TN May 20 & 21, 2005

Choo Choo Holiday Inn
For reservations call: 1-800-872-2529 and be sure to mention the Steel Guitar Reunion to get special rates. Parking is free.

Contact Larry Self 423-533-4008 or steel@bledsoe.net for RESERVED seating and any further info needed.

This will actually be 3 shows. Friday night, Saturday day and Saturday night. All 3 will be great.

I will be handing the sound as I have since the show's inception.

This show is one of the best in the country. The show staff and hotel staff are wonderful and will take good care of you.

Plus there are many attractions close by, with free shuttles, in case you want to stay a little longer.

The hotel has great restaurants and you are close to many other fine eating establishments in the area.

On Friday during the day, I will be playing NEW CD's from various artists over the sound system to give you a sampling of the fine music you will be hearing and can purchase.

The backup band to date is:
Roy Rosetta - Keys (and maybe a vocal)
Ben Brogdon - Bass
Paul Polish - Drums assisted by the one and
only Mr. Jim Hartley.
Bob Strickland - Guitar
Woody Ledford - Guitar

Confirmed Players:

Well here's another show my name was left off of. I don't know if they're trying to tell me something, but I am supposed to be confirmed.

Yeah,I just read the list. A CHOO CHOO show with No Herby Wallace.Don't seem natural.

Nope Herby, it was intentional. Just wanted to see how long it would take an OLD, and I mean OLD man like yourself to catch it.
hehe

Love ya man
Bill

Bill,
Looks like this will be another good steel show as the ones in the past have been. If I come, do you suppose you will let me vocalize one on your spot? Huh. I plan to be there.

How about a bump for my good friends Larry and Angie Self. Two of the nicest people in the world. The lineup seems to get better each time Bill edits the post.
Hey BILL, you're doing a great job taking care of the updates on the show. Looking forward to the Choo Choo show and also seeing you and Linda in Dallas.

Glenn....that's why he creaks when he bumps! Here's a bump from one of the young whipper snappers! Looking forward to a great show.

Well, while in Dallas, I conjured up these 2 to come to Choo Choo.
ADD:
The greatest country singer Mike Siler (and he will be singing on my set along with my buddy Jerry Braswell) and the great Nashville drummer, Dixie Hankens.

Now how's that?

Well Bill, you did good for an old guy......except maybe for a certain singer/bass player from Georgia whose name I won't mention, you sure thats a good idea? You'll have to play especially good when he sings....know what I mean vern..

Hey Glen...I like the way Bill phrased the players list too.......if Russ is real nice between now and May I MAY let him play TWO instrumentals on 'MY' set...we'll see....
See 'ya there,
Laney

Hey Laney its good that you have a nice guy like Russ to carry your luggage and CD's for you. Its nice of you to let him play while you're singing, but don't spoil him.
See you at the Choo Choo.

by Russ Hicks
Hi Ben,
Are you kidding?! Russ is spoiled rotten to the core! It takes all my best manipulation techniques just to stay in control of "his" set lists and my keys...really, we've been at it so long now I don't know who's "managing" who, but, aint we havin' us a good time!
The Choo Choo Show is always fun and I love this lineup. There's just one surprise appearance that would ice the cake...
