Just wondering if anyone uses the C pedal like I just discovered it.

I was fooling around and discovered if I lower E's and press c Pedal Barely ( Not all the way) it makes for a nice place to play some Bluesy Swing type stuff. For Example. Bar at the 8th fret,
c pedal barely pressed makes a E7 chord on strings 3,4,5,6 . when you lower the E with this it turns in to a 6th sounding chord. So the 1 / 4 / 5 progression would be: 8th fret = 1chord
1st or 13th fret = 4chord
3rd or 15th fret = 5chord

Is this something that is really used by all steel players Or did I just discover a bad place to try to play ?

Would like some input on this one.

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,
Try lowering the Es and press only the B pedal all the way. Smile Smile Smile
