Bud Bryants Jam & BBQ

Post by norm mcdaniel »

Well we had another one of Bud Bryants Invitational Steel Jam and BBQ the Monday after the great TSGA Show in Dallas. It was a lot of fun and the food was great as usual.
Jim Baron was there with his Band in a Box equiptment and all of the songs that you would ever want to pick.
The pickers we had were
Jim Pelanscar from Calif
J.D. Maness from Calif
Frank Carter from Calif
Mark Giles from Texas
David Wright from Calif
Ronnie Symack from Texas
Albert Talley TSGA Pres
Fred Justice from Ariz
Jim Baron from Calif
Norm McDaniel from Texas
Rob Parker also was there and sang some songs and did his usual good job.
Most all the pickers brought their wives and we all had a great visit and made lots of music and also eat lots of good food. Hope to see all of them again next year

wanted to post a few pictures of the great time we had down in Waco at Buddy Bryant's place. After the show in Dallas, we all headed down to Buddy's house for some more jamming. It was a great day. The best part was the food!! Buddy cooked up a storm and it was excellent!!! Hey Buddy, a big thanks to you for the great food and for inviting us "west coasters" out to your place. I'll be sure to be there next year. And definitely count me IN for dinner again

Thanks Norm for the good words about the JAM
this was the 4th year for the Jam and it gets better every year. Im sad that it is byinvitation ONLY, but I just have so much
space for players and eaters. We do have the great players from the West Coast to the
East Coast and I am proud that they give me
their time. Thanks Big Jim, Jay Dee, David,
Ray, Fred, Ronnie, Jim P,Frank, Mark G, Norm
and the President of TSGA Albert Talley and
Rob Parker. You made our Day. Much Love BB

MAN OH MAN what a cast. And just to think that I could have joined in and played with such an elite bunch but for the tip of my finger being cut off. It's gettin' better but the bar still slips now and then.

Buddy Bryant is one of the finest men I know and he knows how much he means to me.
HE's MY BUDDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, maybe next year
