Good Morning All,
I just came across an old log book I kept back in the 70s, a list of all the equipment I carried with me back and forth across the border into Canada. All the serial numbers are listed. There among the numbers is an entry for my first Sho-Bud.
Curious if it's still out there in use as so many are.
1972 or 73 Sho-Bud "The Professional" double 10.
Walnut color laquer finish. Serial number 2607.
Purchased new at Monte Vista Guitar Center in Tacoma WA in January 1973 and sold to persons unknown in 1977.
I'd love to know what happened to her.

...ok..i've got another one i'm curious about it's whereabouts.
i had a 'the professional' d10 that had originally (1970?) been made for a show. it was non-see-thru white lacquer with the rope inlay of course. by the time i sold it, it had yellowed quite heavily.there was a small harley sticker in the front middle.
i played it to death for ten years then sold it too cheaply.
i think it ended up with 5 or 6 curved knee levers.
it might have crossed the path of bill's since i played at the crossroads tavern in blaine, washington for a year or so in the mid 70's. |
