That was awesome! Glen Campbell also did a lot of layered guitar chords to get a thick sound on his studio recordings. There's a lot more to the Beatles music than a quick listen would suggest. Thanks for posting this!

Long story short –
Obviously not the same voicing as on the original, but it was close enough for my buddy to know within about a second -what song I wanted to play, even without any other clue. Though to be totally accurate – we had played a number of Beatles songs that afternoon so it’s not like it came completely out of left field.

George Martin was TRULY the 5th Beatle. I just listened to it again, and yes, there's George Martin's piano chord. Never noticed it all these years.

Speaking of how cool the Beatles songs are, if you have never listened to Elenor Rigby in headphones you really need to. It's my favorite example of how they made great sounding songs.
