No sound clip or video, but I've owned 3 Emmons guitars, and the one with the best tone, was the one with the Pentad pickups on it. It was a SKH guitar, which some say were the best guitars Emmons put out. I think I would agree to that. The other Emmons were single coil.

Thanks, Terry for the input. Reason I ask is my new Emmons is coming anytime now and I got the pentad on the e9 neck. While my other two emmons had the single coils.

William, I think you'll really like the Pentad pups. I think there's 5 different settings, tones, you can dial in with the knob between the necks. There's one setting that gives you a Tom Brumley tone. I really liked that one for playing Tracy's Waltz, and any of Tom's great tunes. Hope you like the pickups as much as I did. For the cost of them, the guitar should play itself. Smile
