This years TSGA Jamboree was very special to me. I would first like to thank Albert and all the TSGA staff for inviting Joan and I. I also want to commend Albert and the crew for putting on this great show.
I want to give you a couple of my favorite moments and would like to hear from everyone else.
1. Getting to see and hear my wife, Joan play.
2. John Hughey's set. It is always a pleasure to play bass for John but this year was very special because John sounded like the Hughey of the Twitty days.
3. Laney Hicks with Russ (sorry Russ) is always a high point.
4. The best part of the entire show for me was the set with Hal Rugg, Paul Franklin, John Hughey and Randy Beavers. It just don't get no better.

Let's hear from you.

Johnny....
On the nose on all topics..But I missed the best night!! I hope someone got this on tape. I was fortunate to hear Hal and Paul jam on friday...That alone was worth the ticket...And Joan was exceptional Friday....
You have a reason to be proud...I also had the great pleasure of being on a show with JH the previous Saturday...I know he was gearing up for Dallas...Vintage..Vintage Vintage....It is a pleasure for me to be associated with such fine human beings..
We (steel pickers) are a unique breed of mucisions.....As Ron Elliott said " when was the last time you were at a trumpet convention?"..I can only see this show getting bigger in the comming years...

That set Saturday night with Hal,Randy,John and Paul was one I hope I never forget. I just had a blast this year seeing friends and meeting some folks I have never met before. I enjoyed all the playing and saw Jay Dee Maness for the first time. I got to visit with him for a couple of minutes and he was just down to earth. This year was just one great show and has left me with many wonderful memories.

Hi Johnny

this was my first trip to T.S.G.A. It was by far the best show I have been to, what talent, and it was a joy to here your Wife play, and as always Laney and Russ, what a joy to see them.

I have to admit, I got a little wet in my eyes, hearing Hale,John,Paul,Randy, playing together, it just don't get any better than that. the whole show was a delight for me, thanks to Albert, and the staff, what a great job. I look forward to next year.
