First annual EAGLES TRI-STATE JAMBOREE will be held at the Eagles Lodge 306 N. Durbin Casper, Wyoming on April 8, 2005 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight, April 9, 2005 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 midnight, April 10, 2005 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. We have confirmed musicians coming from North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico and Colorado. Russ Howell and myself are steel players and have put the JAMBOREE together, with the help of the Eagles Lodge, but this will be an open jam session featuring the talents of many musicians. The JAMBOREE, is designed to benefit the Natrona County Wyoming Children's Heart Fund, a local charity to help support families in need of assistance with their children's treatments due to heart and related diseases. We have made arrangements with the Parkway Plaza Hotel 123 West "E" St. (I-25 & Center St.) Casper, WY to provide our out of town attendees with a special rate of $55.00 per night, single or double occupancy. Call 1-800-270-7829 or their web site www.parkwayplaza.net. Be sure and mention the "Eagles Tri-State Jamboree" for the special rate. Admission will be $5.00 per person or a signed paid-up Eagles membership card will admit one person. Confirmed steel players as of this date are Robbie Daniels, Russ Howell, Ed LaFond, Terry Curley and Arlen Reed. It might even be worth the trip to see my SCREAMIN' MIMI 12" SCALE MICRO STEEL. No pedals, but it's a gas.
