It's been 4 years since I posted this thread. From reading the forum daily, many new "forumites" have joined in the last 4 years who would have missed this thread. I see the occasional question if a steel can or should be renovated. Of course it can. When you see the state my 'Bud was in 4 years ago...ANYTHING is possible. Some of the replies to the thread mention my website address. Since 4 years ago it has changed and is mentioned below. I had some lovely replies including one from the Late Legendary Al Marcus. So guys, as mentioned earlier...anything is possible to renovate your beloved friend there are so many guys your side of the pond to do it for you

Thanks James, it just goes to show that most things "ARE" possible. Also shows that there are lovely people in the world like David who took on that mamoth task of the rebuild.
