I recently made a negative comment on people buying guitars for resale on the forum ,altough we have freedom of speech in this country we still have to have respect for people and be careful of what we say, this is where I failed with my comment and regret what I said. as i recall you were just hoping someone didn't snap up a good deal just to resell for profit. the benefit would be greater by giving a steel player an opportunity to have a good instrument, thereby promoting music....as opposed to a soul-less salesman making profit off of someone else's reasonable pricing.
i totally agree and you have nothing to apologize for. first and foremost this forum is to promote the health of steel guitar playing, not to take advantage of profiteering wherever it arises and the steel community be damned. many good deals have played a part in some admirable careers. |
