Does anybody have any experience with the Seymour duncan SFX-03 Twin Tube Classic pedal?

I'm kind of looking for that David Lindley type of tone.

I play a Lloyd Green through a twin reverb.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

They're listed on the Musician's Friend website as the Stupid Deal of the Day for today, October 28th.

Thomas, the SDTT is a really great tube driven pedal. One of my favorites for amp-sounding drive. Great to have two complete channels, very responsive to picking dynamics, downside to me is the large footprint. The "Stupid Deal" price is unreal.

Thanks for the response.

That deal of the day was why I was asking. I bought one but I waited a little too long - they are back ordered until next week.

More toys.

I love this pedal. Wish I had only paid $90 for mine!

so would this be a good alternative to carrying an amp sometimes? This pedal right into the PA system? I only use tube amps....this sounds like it would do it...

dragged my steel and Matchless amp, weighs a ton, into a field for a Farmer's Market gig, this would be a pretty attractive alternative for that sort of thing...

Is the clean sound really clean, just tube-flavored?

??

p.s. I suspect that Brad's PS Black Box is really what I want here (?), but for only occasional use, when I don't drag the Matchless along, the Musician's friend $90 deal sounds pretty attractive, if it can do "clean clean"

I used one of these for about a year at many gigs. It worked great and sounded super, but I went with an Earth Drive instead. Just as good tone and less weight and footprint on the pedalboard.
