Tomorrow's the day.....MAYBE! Old man winter is threatening snow tomorrow morning. If we have to postpone the meeting, I will post it on the forum and try to email and call everybody that I can, so please stay close to the forum tomorrow morning. The meeting plans for tomorrow look real good on paper, but it remains to be seen what works and what doesn't tomorrow. I am optimistic that the weather will cooperate and we will have a great time tomorrow.
George,
I thought that the first meeting/gathering went well! I enjoyed meeting some steelers that I hadn't met and seeing some good ol' faces! We had many makes and models of steels, and various styles. aND WITH THE Pros such as Bryan Adams,Tont Dingus, and Steve Lenord..it was an exceptional event.
We covered a lot info & questions in a short time. I think that the association, club, group, or whatever WILL take on an identity of it's own as we progress. You should be commended for getting this thing going!..I know that you have been trying for a long time to get it going. So I think that the Mountain States Steel Guitar Club/Group/Gang/Assn. is a reality and in bussiness..so to speak..and all steelers and/or enthusiest from the whole region are invited. The only cost/charges at this time are donations for facility rental.! Steve Lenord and his Dad were nice enough to "Host" and get the facility and sound equipment. Thanks Steve!
and I thourouly enjoyed it!
