The LTD is the same amp as the Session 400, but in a smaller case. They were built in the seventies. Despite having passive EQ, they had great tone. Legend has it that Peavey licensed the circuitry from Standel, and used it sans modification. I've not heard that story challenged. They (both Session and LTD) usually fetch just under 400.
The Session 400 limited, which this is, came out after the Nashville 400 but before the Nashville 1000/2000.
I don't like them as much. From their value, I'd say I'm not alone. If it gives you a tone you like, this means you come out ahead, as it's cheaper.
And you can't have my LTD _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
