Just got my Mullen G2 the other day! I love it, it's awesome. It's a huge change from my Magnum Pro Select I'll tell you.

Here's a pic. The pics cannot do even the slightest bit of justice for the finish on this guitar. It's the new marble lacquer finish with clear coat.

But this part I don't understand. Is it really 10 months to wait?

Dustin,

I waited 13 months for this one although I had made quite a few changes along the way, copedent, etc. I initially ordered a RP and then changed it to a G2 and am glad I did.

The RPs are really nice too, I played one locally but this thing is super smooth and tone to the bone.

Yeah the process is a new one and it's sent off site to get done but it'll be worth the wait. Everyone kept telling me that same thing and they were right.

Pictures don't convey the beauty of the finish as you really have to see it in person to realize just how deep, and clear shine is.

Did you order the same color?

Thanks Curt, yeah apparently it is. They had someone up and quit on them last month. Not sure if they came back or if they got a replacement but that might slow them down a bit too.

The finish takes a while longer, not sure of how much longer, but even though it's more expensive it's worth it in my opinion.

I also heard the wait is longer than expected due to some manpower changes. No Biggie. I ordered a sunburst lacquer, which takes about 40+ more labor hrs to complete than a Mica covered steel.

Thats a beauty Keith. They sure do make great guitars and worth the wait! I think most owners wouldnt sell their Mullen unless they absolutely had to, or unless they have one to spare, and want to spread love like peanut butter, so smooth. Razz <- (drool emoticon)

Keith,

Congratulations! Great looking guitar! I've got the D10 G2 with the same finish and receive lots of compliments. I'm getting ready to order another G2, this time it's gonna be the new Xanadu Blue Bamboo mica. Some of the other blues were discontinued and Mike found another line of mica colors. I think it will be really nice-looking.

I celebrated twenty years of my Mullen D-11 pre-RP. It still plays and sounds incredible. Wish I had an excuse for upgrading to a new one. Let me ask my wife------------
