I have a Pro-1, and after playing for 20 or 30 minutes, I have to re-tune my a and b pedals. This cant be normal. Is there something I can do to fix this problem Question

Two stupid questions:
How old are your strings?
check pull rods and changer for binding.

You're right, it ain't normal. If wanted to spend that much time tuning, I'd get a Strat.

Lane, the strings are 2 weeks old, fully stretched. The guitar itself stays in tune great, its only when using the pedals, the pedals have to be retuned...

it may be as simple as loose nylon tuners at the changer. do they turn easily or a little stiff? a little stiff is better so they don't wander.

They seem to be sort of loose. Is there a way to tighten them...Thanks

if the hole goes all the way through you can try turning them around and threading them back on. otherwise, hopefully someone else has a simple idea.

They are really inexpensive. Most steel shops sell them. Click on "links" at the top of the page and go to the vendors link.

I have actually used a little teflon tape on the threads and re-used the loose nylon nut. But, it's best to just replace them.

A thought. Does your Pro 1 actually have nylon tuners? I know that later ones had the Super Pro undercarriage with nylon nuts, but I think the early ones had the 2 hole pullers with barrels. This would be a different problem and solution.

Then I would just order some and replace them. I carry spares in my pak-a-seat.
