Help wanted on operating a FOSTEX MR8HD Recoeder

Post by BJ Jenkins »

Folks I am vision impaired and would appreciate ANY help with a Fostex mr8hd.
The last time I used a recorder,I could SEE and it was a Teac 8 track with 'Sel-Sync' or 'sound on sound'.
I know that the termonology has probably changed and that is why I need some help.

I want to be able to record one track and then go back and play along with that til I get a total of eight that I can ,then mix down to disc, tape or computer.
Mabye someone with the manual can direct me to the page with the info that I can have blown up so I can see it.
If someone who has one of these will help me,I will be grateful.

I can pick up edit and the other features with time.
Just need to know how I can pick on the track and then mix it down...
In the words of the famous Andy Griffith...'I PRECIATE CHA !!

Here's a link to the owner's manual in Adobe pdf format. You can zoom with the pdf reader.

Hope that helps. Good luck!
