The RKR lever is stiff. What adjustment should I make to make it easy to push? The pulls are 2nd string w/halfstop,9th string lower, and 3rd string lower on C6th. Thanks in advance.

Move your pull rods to bottom holes toward body on
bell cranks. This will ease it up but you will have to move your knee a tad more.

Kenny,

I would first check to see if perhaps the lower return springs are adjusted too tight on strings 2 and/or 9 on the E9 neck and/or string 3 on the C6 neck. If they are, you can release some of the tension to reduce the pressure. Be carefull, because a little goes a long way. Too little pressure can cause big problems as well. You'd be surprised how much impact the tension on these lower springs can effect the knee levers and/or pedals. I'll send you an email with my phone number in case you want to discuss things further. We can make sure your guitar is rodded correctly to allow the 9th string lower to assist in the 2nd string feel stop.

Lynn has the right idea. If that doesn't do the trick you can change the leverage point on the actuating rod which connects knee lever to crossbar.
In this case you would move away from pivot point (crossbar)

Thanks for the responses Rick, Bob, Lynn, and Jack. I have to work the next 4 days, so when I get a chance, I'll check out what you've mentioned. Rick, I don't know if Long John Silvers would let me set my steel up in their lobby. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
