So I understand that this will happen from time to time with those models using the pot metal levers and brackets. Well, my time was Sunday evening during rehearsal, so I need a new bracket. I spoke with Michael Yahl at PSG Parts, but he doesn't have any made yet and I know that Coop has passed away, so I am hoping someone here might be able to help me get this replaced ASAP as I have some work to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks y'all. |

Try James Morehead on the Forum, or Jeff Surratt at Show Pro or Bobbe Seymour. All should be able to help. _________________ Show Pro D10 - amber (8+6), MSA D10 Legend XL Signature - redburst (9+6), Sho-Bud Pro 111 Custom (8+6), Emmons black Push-Pull D10 (8+5), Zum D10 (8x8), Hudson pedal resonator. The late Eric West of Portland, OR., broke one of his Sho-Bud knee levers while on the job at Jubitz Truck Stop. Eric jumped up, left the room only to return moments later with a brand new radiator clamp, for possibly a one inch size hose.
He broke off the handle of dinner knife, then returned to the bandstand. Within minutes, he had
the modification completed and the last I heard, he was still using that set-up, after several years.
It's a true story and the mod did work! |
